BEACON- school energy education programme
curriculum development, middle school syllabus was targeted for the
identification of existing 'energy' linkages. Feedback from a select
group of teachers was taken to assess the school perspective in the
entire exercise. Their recommendations have been documented and presented
both as detailed lesson plans and specific energy pointers.
training workshops were organized under this project for the member
schools. The workshops were educative both for the teachers and TERI
colleagues, as the participatory approach in them was a major success.
The project observed its formal closure on 5 November 2004.
